Suggested websites to search for information on your topic: the BBC, PBS, the New York Times, etc. You do not need to reply only on scholarly sources, though you certainly can.
If you are having trouble locating information about your topic, here is a website with links to several useful articles. Note: the website is rather old, so some of the links (to the BBC, for example) are expired. In that case, just go directly to the BBC site and search the archives.

Classwork (in Lab)
Yesterday we talked about the Social Security program created under FDR and you read two proposed changes to it in the DBQ for homework.
Your assignment is to create a thoughtful, accurate 5-paragraph essay essay paper examining both sides of the social security dilemma. In this essay, your aim is to demonstrate that you understand the problem Social Security is experiencing and the proposals that have been made to fix it.
